This policy explains how Yajaira Morell, operating as "The Connector" (theconnector.social) — collects, uses, shares, and protects the information you submit through this site, including its contact forms and the financing inquiries they capture. Yajaira is a commercial financing broker. She connects businesses — and home buyers and owners on the residential mortgage page — to lenders. She does not lend her own money and is not a bank. This policy covers both ways to reach us: this website's forms, and the lead form that runs directly on Facebook and Instagram as part of our advertising.
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type in:
When you respond to one of our Facebook or Instagram ads through Meta's built-in lead form, Meta collects the same kind of information — your name, phone number, and email address — directly on their platform, and sends it to us.
Visiting a page that runs one of our ad campaigns also triggers the Meta Pixel, a standard piece of code from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) that tells us an ad led to a visit or a form submission, so we can tell whether an ad is working. It does not collect anything you type into a form. We also receive standard technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and page URL, which we use to log consent and keep our records accurate.
We don't use what you send us for anything beyond responding to your inquiry.
We share your information with the financing partners and lenders in our network who may be able to work with your request. We share what is needed to introduce or pursue your inquiry, and only for that purpose. We do not sell your information. The service providers that help us operate, such as the service that delivers our contact-form email, may process your information on our behalf to route your message, and they are required to protect it. Meta (Facebook/Instagram) processes lead-form and pixel data as the advertising platform itself, under Meta's own privacy policy.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information in electronic form, as Florida law requires. In practice that means: we encrypt data in transit and at rest where we hold it, we use multi-factor authentication on the systems that hold your information, and we do not store the most sensitive items (such as full Social Security numbers or bank credentials) in our own systems when a lender's secure portal can hold them instead. We keep a short incident response plan, we limit access to people who need it, and we dispose of records we no longer need by making them unreadable.
We keep your inquiry and consent records for as long as needed to serve your request and meet our recordkeeping duties, and then we securely delete them. Consent and do-not-contact records are kept so we can prove whether we have permission to contact you and so we can honor your choices.
You are never required to consent to calls or texts as a condition of using this site or requesting information. If you have consented to contact and change your mind, you can revoke that consent at any time, and we will honor it.
To opt out, ask a question, or request access to or deletion of your information, contact Yajaira at hello@theconnector.social or 305-990-1903.
We maintain an internal do-not-contact list, and it covers businesses as well as individuals. If you ask us not to call, text, or leave voicemails, we add you to that list and stop. We keep do-not-contact requests honored for at least five years, we train the people who contact prospects on these rules, and we honor each request within 10 business days. When we call, we identify ourselves with a true name and the business on whose behalf we are calling.
We do not call before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. in your local time, and we do not place more than three calls to you on the same subject in any 24-hour period, regardless of the number we call from.
If you check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree that Yajaira Morell may contact you by autodialed or prerecorded telephone calls, text messages, and voicemails at the number you provided. If a lender will also contact you, that lender is named in the consent you checked. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop texts, and HELP if you need assistance. The full terms for text messaging are in our Terms of Service.
If information is accessed without authorization, we take steps to contain and assess it and, where the law requires, we notify affected individuals and the Florida Attorney General without unreasonable delay and within the time the law sets.
Because we work with businesses seeking commercial financing rather than individual consumers, the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act privacy-notice requirements generally do not apply to us. We protect your information under Florida's Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. 501.171) and under the data-security commitments in our agreements with our lender partners, which are often stricter than the statute. Our calls and texts are governed by the federal TCPA and Florida's telephone-solicitation statute (Fla. Stat. 501.059), which is why the consent box on our forms works the way it does. This summary is plain language, not a recital of every legal duty.
Questions about this policy, or want your information removed from our records? Email hello@theconnector.social or call 305-990-1903.
If we change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above and post the revised policy on this page.
This policy describes our actual data practices in plain language. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by a Florida attorney before the site goes live. The business's registered legal name and physical address are not yet confirmed and are not stated here for that reason.
